Why Equity?
We want our communities to thrive. And the systems that drive how we live and work together - and our chances for success and well-being - aren’t as equitable as we need them to be. Root causes of disparity based on race, income, gender and other social identities are entrenched, creating outcomes and conditions we can’t accept.
It’s time for change. We can do better. By understanding how root causes play out in our organizations and systems and applying concrete actions to address them and transform our work, we can enact equity and achieve better, stronger outcomes. It’s the only way our communities will be truly able to thrive.
